March 24, 2020 Announcement:
We are doing our best to stay informed regarding state and federal requests and directives. Please be patient with us as some of the information we are receiving is conflicting and frequently changing. However, thank God, He never changes!
Yesterday the Governor of Washington State issued a "Stay at Home” order for all non-essential business that goes in effect at 5pm Wednesday. Churches have been designated as non-essential. So, effective March 25, 2020 at 5pm ALNC will be closing to the public until at least April 7, 2020.
All the pastors will be working from home. However, King County has deemed that online services are essential business and now pastors can record online services with a small team at the church. We will continue to post devotions and lessons for you and your families.
There will be no activities at ALNC until the restrictions are lifted. If you need help or have a concern, please call and leave a message at the church. It will be checked remotely daily.
We do not fear nor are we panicking. However, we desire to be obedient to the local, state and federal civil authorities. We want to be good examples to those around us and show that we care for each other.
Continue to be the church. Reach out to other members and check in on them. Call and use social media to stay connected. We are still the church and the government has not nor can it shut down the people of God! Be full of faith, not fear!
We will keep everyone informed as we get more information.
