Back to School Resource Fair
Each year several community organizations come together to put on a Back to School Resource Fair for families who live in SeaTac, Washington.
Included in the Back to School Resource Fair are free hair cuts, backpacks, school supplies, well child/dental care checks (by appointment only 206-277-7200) as well as food, door prizes and fun things to do for children.
The 2009 fair will be held on Thursday, August 27th from 10:30am to 2:30pm on Angle Lake Neighborhood grounds and Angle Lake Family Resource Center at 4040 South 188th Street SeaTac, WA 98188.
The goal is to distribute 600 filled backpacks to children grades K-12. The backpacks and messenger bags will include supplies such as:
- Calculators
- Paper
- Pens and pencils
- Facial tissue
- Scissors
- Composition books
- 3-hole punch college rule paper
- 5-tab dividers
- Post-it notes
- Pencil pouches
- 2-inch binders
